Top Hat Special-Teas Pecan Scones

Ingredients

  • 2 C all purpose flour
  • 1/4 C of sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 C butter
  • 3/4 C milk
  • 1/4 C chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, then blend with butter. Mixture should look crumbly.
  2. Add milk and chopped pecans, and combine ingredients (until they are no longer sticky) to form a dough ball.
  3. Roll out dough and cut into shape of choice (recipe yields about 8 scones).
  4. Bake 350° for 15-18 minutes.
