Top Hat Special-Teas Pecan Scones
- 2 C all purpose flour
- 1/4 C of sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 C butter
- 3/4 C milk
- 1/4 C chopped pecans
- Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, then blend with butter. Mixture should look crumbly.
- Add milk and chopped pecans, and combine ingredients (until they are no longer sticky) to form a dough ball.
- Roll out dough and cut into shape of choice (recipe yields about 8 scones).
- Bake 350° for 15-18 minutes.
