The Florence Center will host Dental Access Days Thursday, Friday and Saturday (August 26-28).
Dental care is either unavailable or an unaffordable luxury for many adults living in South Carolina. It is common to find residents with severe pain, discomfort, and embarrassment due to poor oral health. In order to address access to care for many indigent South Carolinians, the South Carolina Dental Association hosts Dental Access Days.
South Carolina Dental Association’s Dental Access Days will provide free dental care. The services provided are x-rays, fillings, cleanings, and extractions. There will be no dentures. All services are provided by volunteer dentists, hygienists, assistants, administration, and students.
