It’s time for rainbows, leprechauns and science! On Friday, March 15th from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm children will have the chance to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the ScienceSouth team during our Shamrock Science event. Participants will use basics of chemistry to create walking rainbows, explore the mystery behind Leprechaun lamps and more! If they’re lucky, they may even discover hidden coins!
“This event will mark our third year hosting Shamrock Science,” said Pavilion Programming Coordinator Casey Coker. “We want to give children an experience they’ll never forget and we hope to do so by combining science with this legendary Irish holiday.”
This workshop is for children ages 5-12 with a cost of $20 per child, which includes dinner. Shamrock Science is part of our Kid’s Night Out series. Check here for more details about the next Kid’s Night Out event.
