We have seen much growth for soccer in Florence. With the opening of the Florence Soccer Complex in 2018, the Florence area complex contains 10 Tiff Bermuda fields open for play. Two of these fields are championship style with MUSCO lighting, and four practice fields. The complex also contains a Perry Weather Monitoring system and a 6,000 square foot pavilion. The pavilion includes bathrooms, concession area, medical training area, meeting space, and a panoramic spectator deck. The Complex has hosted tournaments such as the South Carolina Youth Soccer President’s State Cup and Open Cup.

Local youth can participate in team play through City athletic programs and Florence Soccer Association.
