Go “Cruisin’” Downtown June 15 for a Car Show and The Entertainers Band

Legend Smoky Robinson on “Cruisin’” sang: “Cruising is made for love; I love it when we’re cruising together.”

We don’t know if cruising is made for love, but it’s certainly entertaining!

Florence’s Cruisin’ Downtown Open Car and Bike Show returns June 15 at 4 p.m. (with a 3 p.m. participant check-in) in a partnership between Florence Downtown Development, the Eastern SC Mustang Club and Black Jack Harley Davidson.

The family-geared event features a car and motorcycle show, but also food and auto vendors, a DJ, live music and much more!

DJ-for-the-day is Dan E. Lockemy from 4-6 p.m., followed by The Entertainers Band from 6-8 p.m. The Entertainers Band is known for the regional smash hit “Living for The Summer,” and their latest album “The Inside Story” features the #1 beach music hit “Thank Goodness She Cheated” (better to know early on, right! 😊).

The car and motorcycle show is huge as well of course, and will include 25 car classes (classic Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros, Thunderbirds, etc.), several motorcycle classes, trucks, and awards at 8 p.m. for the top two in each class (see more info here on the show, and how to register, etc.)

Admission is FREE and organizers welcome people to set-up lawn chairs.
