The Bean Market was the world’s largest truck auction during Lake City’s agricultural prime. Built in 1936 by the Public Works Administration as part of FDR’s “New Deal,” the building has been completely restored to serve as an attractive and modern venue for conferences, meetings, weddings, receptions, and other events.
Stroll The Bean Market every Thursday in the late spring through November to discover fresh produce, local honey and more during the Lake City Farmer’s Market.
