SC Pecan Festival - SC Pecan Trail

The SC Pecan Festival is held in downtown Florence on the first Saturday in November. It features pecan culinary competitions, Bike Like a Nut and Run Like a Nut races, along with six stages of live entertainment, amusements, rides, a free Kids Fun Zone, classic car and truck show, antique tractor show, and over 250 food and craft vendors! In 2016, the Pecan Pub was added -- a place to kick back, catch the big games, and sample several pecan-brewed beers!

If you are already a nutty culinary master looking to show off your talents and win great prizes, enter the annual Pecan Cook-off and show us what you’ve got! Fill out the registration form (available online) and bring your recipe and best dish using pecans to the festival to compete for the $250 Best Overall Award!

Seminar Brewing has a seasonal smoked brown ale with roasted pecans called Pecans Gone Wild. It's a collaborative effort with RJ Rockers in Spartanburg, SC. You've got to taste this one! 

You'll find it in local restaurants and in the Seminar tasting room at 1945 W. Palmetto Street, next to Red Bone Alley.  It is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6:30pm-9:00pm, Saturdays 5:00pm-10:00pm.
