Young Plantations Basic Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick) softened butter
  • 1 C granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs (slightly beaten)
  • 1 C light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 C chopped pecans
  • 9-inch pastry shell (unbaked)
  • 30-50 pecan halves

Directions

  1. Cream/blend butter and sugar together.
  2. Add remaining ingredients (except pecan halves) then pour into unbaked 9-inch pastry shell.
  3. Top with 30-50 pecan halves.
  4. Bake 10 minutes at 375° and 30-35 minutes at 325°.
