Tournaments are serious business for Florence. Soccer, softball, football, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, disc golf, pickleball, E-sports and even canine agility. There’s something for every sports fanatic with championships and tournaments nearly every weekend. Florence hosts many successful sporting events because of its quality facilities, and the venues just keep coming!

Florence has plenty of recreation facilities, including the 14-field Florence Soccer Complex. Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center. Timrod Park offer over 40 tennis courts and 6 pickleball courts. Basketball,  volleyball, and pickleball are played at the Pearl Moore Basketball Center and Florence Center. Travel teams play baseball and softball at Freedom Florence, and collegiate teams take the field at the Francis Marion University Athletic Park.

Lynches River County Park offers educational activities at the Environmental Discovery Center, and it has a canopy swinging boardwalk taking you into the forest with a bird’s-eye view.  The splash pad is a refreshing spot to cool off during the summer.
