WHO WE ARE
Florence Convention and Visitors Bureau is a great place to learn about Florence, as well as the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. At the Florence CVB, you’ll find a handy dining guide and a day guide so you can plan an eventful day in the area and dine on local specialties and favorites.
The Florence Visitor Center offers directional maps so you can get where you need to be. And while you’re at the center, don’t forget to snatch up a postcard so you can let a friend back home know you stayed in Flotown! Our office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except major holidays.
If you’d like to receive our weekly event newsletters, please add your email to our list by filling out the email block in the footer of this page.
Sometimes the best way to meet awesome people is through volunteering. We’re always happy to help make connections!
Florence Convention and Visitors Bureau has teamed up with United Way of Florence County to coordinate volunteers and service opportunities.

Florence CVB is working with United Way to promote their Volunteer Corps program. The program has two levels – volunteering on a regular basis, and volunteering as-needed. We have a special Facebook page to keep everyone updated on volunteer opportunities. Wilson High School IB students also created a guide to philanthropy called “The Navigator” for your reference. Fill out the application to be added to our distribution list. Feel free to email or call either organization for more info:
