The United States Marine Band, known as “The President’s Own,” is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization. Founded in 1798, the band has performed for every U.S. President since John Adams and serves a unique mission of providing music for the President of the United States and the Commandant of the Marine Corps. For more than two centuries, the Marine Band has represented the highest standards of musical excellence while serving as a symbol of the nation’s rich cultural and military heritage.

Under the direction of Lt. Col. Ryan Nowlin, the Marine Band continues the concert touring tradition established in 1891 by its legendary 17th Director, John Philip Sousa. Audiences can expect a dynamic and inspiring program featuring traditional concert band repertoire, Sousa marches, contemporary works, outstanding vocal and instrumental soloists, and a stirring patriotic salute to the Armed Forces. This performance is part of the 2026 United States Marine Band National Concert Tour, bringing the artistry and tradition of America’s premier military ensemble to communities across the nation.
