Jason GuerreroWe were traveling thru the beautiful state of South Carolina and we searched food along our route and saw Baxley’s Hut about 3 miles off our route and after reading the reviews decided it sounded like it was worth the detour. Boy did we find a gem of place to eat. It was a bit hard to find at first as Baxley’s located inside the local VFW post and they were waiting for their sign to arrive but none the less we found it. We ordered the fried green bean appetizer with wasabi ranch and delish they were 😋. There was four of us and we had one chicken wrap, two burgers, and one bacon burger with sweet potato fries. The burgers reminded me of my recently departed dads homemade burgers….. absolutely 100% delicious, everything was delicious. Oh and if you need a pick me up their sweet tea could substitute for tasty rocket fuel 🤤. The ladies who ran this fine establishment were just as sweet as their ice tea. As another post stated, I wish I wasn’t just passing thru. So if you come across this gem, YOU MUST STOP 🛑 and eat. I promise your tummy will thank you. May GOD bless these folks, their business, and those that support them 🙏🏽. PS sorry I don’t have pics to share, I ate the food faster than I could remember to take some 🤣. I will on my next trip thru from Texas because I will be back
