Threw the Pines USDGC Double Qualifier

Take your own partner and go join Florence Disc Golf Association at the first USDGC Double Qualifier at Winding Pines! Go battle the pines and earn your place at USDGC in this 2-round, 1-day, BYOP, best shot doubles tournament on Saturday Aug 15, 2026.

Format – Best Shot

This event uses a best shot or captains choice doubles format. Both players play from the tee on every hole. After every shot both players choose their preferred lie out of the two shots. Both players then play from the same preferred lie.

Round 1 Layouts:

MPO and MA1: Long tee to Long baskets (Yellow)All other divisions: Short tee to Short basket (Blue)

Round 2 Layouts:

All Divisions: Short tee to Short basket (Blue)

MA1 and MA2 USDGC Berths:

1-5 Teams = 1 Team qualifies

6-10 Teams = 2 Teams qualify

11+ Teams = 3 Teams qualify

FA1, FA2, FA40, MA40 USDGC Berths:

1-3 Teams = 1 Team qualifies

4-7 Teams = 2 Teams qualify

8+ Teams – 3 Teams qualify

All Pro divisions are not eligible for USDGC Doubles and will play for cash prize.
