Trick-or-Treat with Telescopes at the FMU Observatory

The FMU Observatory will be open on October 30, 2026, for a Trick-or-Treat with Telescopes party. Feel free to go dressed in costume. Please be aware that the temperature will drop fast as you are standing out on the track. If you take small children, you may want to take their jackets.

When is the event exactly?

Drop-In Time: any time between 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Where: FMU Observatory located behind the Center for the Child

Parking: Please use Lot D or the Center for the Child parking lots. Follow the glow stick path to the track area. It is a short walk, but it will be dark!

What will be happening?

They will have telescopes set up on FMU Observatory grounds and the Dome available.

This is an outdoor event and visitors are encouraged to check weather conditions before venturing out to the University. In the case of severe weather the event will be canceled.
