Visited George's twice while visiting the area (it was so good the first night, we went back again the second night). The prices are great and the food is really delicious - very generous portions for both food and drink, and a decent amount of options on the menu. We were surprised that it was drive-thru style take out *only*. You order at the window then park and they bring the food out to your car. Not something we minded at all, just something we didn't know ahead of time.

From the moment I drove up, the lady at the window was warm, welcoming, and had an amazing personality—customer service like that truly sets the tone. Let’s talk about the food 🔥 I barely had time to blink before my pink lemonade was gone—it was that good. I ordered the grilled pork chop with mashed potatoes and gravy, fried okra, and lima beans, and baby… I don’t know who was on that grill, but they understood the assignment. That pork chop was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The portions were very generous and left me more than satisfied. This is hands-down a perfect lunch spot—comfort food done right with great service. I will definitely be back!

Just discovered this little restaurant in Timmonsville and they have fast take out service. Always have my order without any mistakes. Love the hamburger steak, Fried Chicken and Hamburgers. They are friendly and professional. These type of restaurants are rare these days.

If you’re looking for good food and coming down I-95 definitely check out George’s. We ordered the chicken plate, burger box, and flounder and shrimp plate. Burgers were great, flounder, chicken and the salad that came along with it was all delicious.
