I came back to edit my original review. I had to made a very difficult decision to put my sweet baby to rest. The Staff on this particular night were incredibly compassionate and I don’t feel it was fair to judge an entire practice based on my negative experience with one veterinarian. However, My original review of Dr. Hooker still stands. Please, sir..gain some compassion and work on your deliverance of the message you have to deliver. We are people and our pet is not just “another dog” to “put down”.

We brought our Oliver to the ER on sunday morning due to respiratory distress. We didnt expect to leave without him. I dont remember all the names but we are so grateful for the vet technician who told us Oliver was coding and brought him to us as fast as he could so we could say goodbye. It was traumatic because we didnt expect it to happen, especially not that suddenly but that moment we had with him brought us closure. I also want to say thank you to everyone who handled him with such care in his last moments and afterwards as well as explaining exactly what was happening. We were in shock and it wasnt easy but the compassion that was shown meant a great deal for us. Thank you.

Sabrina was so kind an helpful, when I called after our dog got a hold of a corn cob she was very understanding and let me know the exact steps to take! After we hung up she even called back with further instructions to help me do the best thing for my dog! Having never had to utilize an emergency vet before (thank goodness) I can not say enough positive things about my experience.
