What a great lunch stop! For $7.99 I got a hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli w/cheese and a drink. My buddy got a pile of chicken livers, rice and field peas for the same price. The server and cook were very friendly; combining them with the regular customers made for very entertaining conversation. Give it a try next time you're in Coward.

These old school truck stops are the best. .. It's nothing pretty nothing fancy. But the food is really good and the people are really nice ... it's really refreshing to go to one of these old truck stops. Instead of the big corporate guys. 10.10.25. I was told at some point you guys are going to be renovating.And tearing down the old building and building something new.Please .. Whatever you do, please keep the diner.It's one of the things that makes your truck stop different from everybody else.So keep it unique.Even though you're going to have a new building someday, keep it unique by having the good southern food that makes your truck stop different from other places

Nice little fuel stop on US 52. The only downside is they have limited parking for trucks. You can sleep here overnight but good luck on finding a spot to park. But you can pull in temporarily for a bite to eat on the go. The grill is open from 5am -3pm
