Staff is all very friendly & knowledgeable about the race track & items on display. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. They are generally open the day after the cup races, so it's a great follow up to your race trip, even if it is on a Monday!

Very interesting. About an hour in a half from Monroe NC. Worth the nominal charge and it is a great place to learn not only about racing but cars, history and physics. The lady at the museum entrance was charming. Enjoyed.

Didn't catch the name of the gentlemen running the place but he was very welcoming and nice. Great stop in even if you just have a few minutes.

This place definitely needs to do track tours. The museum is nice and all, but to be able to AT LEAST climb the steps and get some shots of the track, would make this visit much more memorable, especially for someone my age that loved racing for what it was BACK IN THE DAY. I'd recommend stopping only if they start allowing a view of the track.
