If I could give this store zero stars I definitely would. Casher was very rude. Store #13189 located at 4010 Planer Rd, Effingham, SC Her name was Renee. She rang up my items and gave me the price. Said drinks were not on sale. I explained that there was a sign saying they were 3 for 15. She proceeded to tell me that sale ended yesterday. I said to get that if the sign was still up they needed to sale me them at that price. She said that was not her problem. Told her to take them off. She said she would have to void the entire order. Told her I would not pay that price so void the order. Stated she didn't know how to. We had words and yes I said an ugly word cause I was beyond pissed. Paid for my order. Asked her name and managers name. Said she didn't have to tell me anything. I asked her who the other lady was that had been in there with her. She refused to answer. Said I wanted to talk to her. Said she was on break. Would be back in 30 minutes. I said I would wait. I ended up waiting 1hr and 30 minutes. While I was in there waiting, another customer came in and didn't have enough money to pay for everything. She started taking stuff out of the bags. Renee got very upset and said I will have to void the entire order. Me and another customer ended up paying the difference for this lady cause she was shaking and in tears. This is very unprofessional off the worker and should not be tolerated. I went and sat in my car and ended up calling another dollar general. The manager was very professional and stated the cashier should of sold me the item for the sale price and take the sign down. She reached out to her district manager and she called the store. It is now 7:30, just got home. SAlE SIGN STILL UP WHEN I LEFT. Asked for a current sales paper and she said she didn't have one. I will never go to this store again even though it is 2 miles from my house.

I love this dollar store, the employees are friendly and great, the store is clean, fast lines, always stocked. Always nice to wall in and consistently find friendly faces greeting you and assisting you so quickly. The store is well laid out and the if you need the restroom it is always clean. This is my favorite DG in all of Florence SC area

If you rated the total cleanliness and ease of moving around this packed little store, it would probably get a 2 or 3 star rating. However, the people are always really nice. The prices are great. They have a lot of items I need in a hurry. And most important, they are literally the closest store of any kind to my home.

Baby, I just finished rating a Dollar General in NC!! Chesterfield, I give you 110%!! Clearance items where Everywhere!! I bought for four people. Was disappointed in NC with no clearance. No assistance! Zero for Outstanding customer service... I love you Guys in Chesterfield!! Raises to the young gentle at the register. You are so so so sweet. Kudos to the young lady who helped me find my baby oil by taking me to the baby oil.... You Go Girl.. I even that the stock young lady for greeting me, Leaving the store! Fabulous... See ya in a week or two.
