Lucille WardWe’ve been staying at this Florence location for a while because it’s near the train station, we live in Columbia but I travel to NJ often and we don’t drive at night. The beds are comfortable and bedroom, bathroom are always clean, however our last stay 10/3/26 the floors were slippery and I spoke to Jordan after we checked out and she said they were cleaning the room now and she would check after they finished. We would have told them earlier but we were so tired from traveling. Other than that we love staying at The La Quinta Inn in Florence, SC .

christine Haymorei team, Thank you for hosting us during our stay. I wanted to share some feedback regarding our experience. First, the breakfast was very good. We were amazed by the options provided and really enjoyed it—it was definitely the highlight of our stay. However, there were a few issues that impacted our experience: - The pool was closed during our visit. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated beforehand, as we weren't aware it was not open year-round. - I had requested a room on the first floor or near the elevator due to my hip and health issues, but this request was not able to be accommodated. - The designated pet area for our dog to go potty was quite a bit of a walk, which was difficult given my mobility . - Train Noise: A train track is located approximately 500 feet from the hotel. Very long trains passed through late at night—sometimes twice in a single night—and were extremely loud. - Room Accommodations & Amenities: Due to health issues, I required specific room or floor accommodations that could not be met. Additionally, the pool was not open, contrary to expectations. - In-Room Supplies: There were no silverware, bowls, or plates provided in the room. Fortunately, I was able to find plastic forks and bowls downstairs. I hope you can address these concerns to improve the experience for future guests. U2793WEmargaretsWe have stayed here three times as it is pet friendly and has several food options close by. This time it was just ok, we had to change rooms as the AC didn’t work. The staff here has always been friendly and polite, not so much this time. We were obviously inconveniencing the desk person by checking in while he was playing on his phone, then again when we requested a room change. Most importantly there were folks hanging in the parking lot, no cars…just hanging? Always makes you wonder what they are up to. At this point I walked my dog with caution,⚠️ The bathroom was not clean, it was given a lick and a promise. the floor was …We will be looking at other places to stay next time.
