came to the hospital to meet my mother and father for a day surgery procedure. when I was checked in and greeted at the front door I was sent to four different McLeod employees for directions. none of the employees who work at the desk or that were standing around knew how to direct me to where I needed to go. these are actual mcleod employees who are sitting behind the desk checking you in. this is an extreme disappointment. I understand and there's a lot of construction going on but for registration not to be able to direct you to where your family member is is insane. however, a group of nurses, including Kimberly George, were very kind in helping me find my way. they stopped what they were doing and escorted me throughout the hospital to find my family. if it wasn't for these three nurses I would have given it one star. it's the little things that are important in patient care. Mcleod is lucky to have nurses like this especially big thanks to Ms. George and the two nurses with her.

Hello I just have to give a great big shoutout to the crew in FLORENCE Hospital McLeod. I had a procedure done on Tuesday morning @9. From the door all the way to the surgery room everyone was just the GREATEST. Dr. Wilcox did the surgery. I was very pleased with everyone. They all made me very comfortable and for that I am grateful. Thanks to the crew 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I have no idea why this hospital only got a 2.7 star review rating. I guess everyone's experience is different. But as a truck driver I've had my share of random hospital visits over the past 26 yrs. This place is BY FAR the best experience I've ever had. I thought I was being pranked when I arrived, by the politeness of the staff..."are you comfortable sir....we're going to take good care you...you can relax... you're safe here"...I mean ....I thought I was being pranked. Every nurse and staff that entered my room were heaven sent... especially Taylor and the Ekg lady Pearl T. Pearl brought my anxiety all the way down. And Taylor is a great, and I mean a GREAT listener. Most hospitals anywhere don't listen. They try to rush things along and that's how stuff gets overlooked. Dr. ILYAS was so kind. Just straight to the point and very thorough. I actually considered relocating here. I was just passing through from Mississippi when my emergency happened. Started in emergency room. Ended up being admitted for two days. Just got out. And I feel great and I feel at peace that all of the major things were carefully attended to ruled out. Thanks a million guys
