On Christmas Eve, a girl named Clara receives a Nutcracker doll from her godfather, Drosselmeyer. Later that night, in a dream, the Nutcracker comes to life to battle the Mouse King and his army. Clara’s bravery helps the Nutcracker defeat the Mouse King, and he transforms into a prince. The Prince then takes Clara to the magical Land of Sweets, where the Sugar Plum Fairy hosts a grand banquet in her honor before she wakes up back home.
