Watching her work toward regaining her independence was an emotional journey, and the staff played such an important role in helping her get there. The Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy floor felt like a completely different world from the rest of the hospital. The encouragement, positivity, teamwork, and genuine care they showed my mom made such a tremendous difference. They didn't just treat her—they encouraged her, supported her, pushed her when she needed it, and helped her believe in what she was capable of doing again. I want to personally recognize and thank: 4th Floor Dr. Sawney – Thank you for your care and dedication. Nurse Sarah – Thank you for taking such good care of my mom. Nurse Assistant Tonya – Thank you for your kindness and support. Dietary Daisha – Thank you for everything you did to help care for my mom. Therapy Floor Nurses Jasmine and Monica – Thank you for your compassion and for being there for my mom. PT Russ – Thank you for helping my mom work toward becoming independent again. OT Brianna – Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and dedication. Nurse Assistant Vicki – Thank you for your kindness and support throughout her recovery. To the entire team at MUSC: THANK YOU!
