I cannot say enough amazing things about King and the incredible kindness we experienced there. While driving home to Virginia from a week-long cruise out of Florida, our vehicle suddenly started making a loud knocking noise and lost power on I-95. It was a scary and stressful situation, especially with Easter weekend coming up and all I wanted was to get home to my kids. After getting towed to the dealership, we were greeted by a man in a suit coat—who I later learned was Mr. Floyd, the owner. From the very beginning, he showed an extraordinary level of compassion and care. I was emotional and overwhelmed, but he immediately took us under his wing and went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Mr. Floyd personally drove us to the airport to try to find a rental car. When that didn’t work out, he took us to the train station to check for available seats. After exhausting those options, he brought us back to the dealership and found a loaner vehicle for us to use until our car is repaired. This level of service is truly unheard of these days. His generosity, empathy, and willingness to help complete strangers in such a meaningful way left us completely in awe. Because of him, I’ll be able to make it home and spend Easter with my children—and that means everything to me. I am beyond grateful and will be telling everyone I know about this experience.
