I cannot recommend Richbourg’s Auto Electric Services in Florence, SC highly enough. The owner truly helped me through one of the most stressful automotive situations I’ve ever had — involving two different vehicles in the same week. The first issue was with my 2003 Toyota Highlander. After picking it up from Wheel Country following an oil change, the car would not start with the key and had no power at all — no lights, windows, seats, or dashboard. It was honestly a huge risk even driving it. Wheel Country was kind enough to drive it over to Richbourg’s Auto Electric for me. Within just a few hours, the owner diagnosed the problem, contacted me with a clear explanation, ordered the part, fixed it, and had me back on the road quickly. The efficiency and communication were outstanding. The second vehicle was my Hyundai Tucson, and this one had been a nightmare. Despite having very low miles, it stranded me three separate times, always at night, requiring AAA assistance. I was told it was the battery, but even after replacing it, the problem continued. When the car got hot after longer drives, it simply would not restart. I took it to the dealership ($250) and then to Patrick’s Auto ($300), and neither could isolate the issue. After seeing how quickly Richbourg’s diagnosed my Highlander, I asked if he would take a look at the Tucson. Thankfully, he agreed. Within one day, he called me to explain that the issue was a loose cable, tightened it, and I have not had a single problem since. This experience really showed me that throwing money at a problem doesn’t always solve it — knowledge and skill do. At Richbourg’s Auto Electric, it’s clear that the focus is on fixing the problem the right way, not just charging for time. Thanks to the owner, I was saved from two horrible situations in the same week, and I now have complete confidence in both of my vehicles. Came in for an intermittent alternator problem, didn’t charge me any diagnostic and replaced it with the quality OEM model. Fixed my issue and saved me over 650 dollars since the stealership wanted 1100 and they only charged me 450. Amazing and honest people, highly recommend!

Took my apu to TK Florence, was told it needed a new alternator as the one I’ve put in wasn’t putting out enough amperes(brand new Bosch alternator). Estimate was $1200. Payed almost $200 for diagnostics.😢 Drove my truck & trailer and took it here. Work done in an hour and didn’t need to replace alternator. Very good deal for an hour labor. Extremely knowledgeable and professional! I would highly recommend them as well to truckers needing starter, alternator and electrical work done!.😎

Never ever leave a review for people rather good or bad but they were great ! Five stars across the room! Everyone was so nice. He fixed my wiper handle switch on my Jeep Grand Cherokee! Love this place, this is my go to place now !!
