⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolute Gem in Florence, SC! I was in Florence, South Carolina, helping my niece move into college, and as I was leaving the area for the weekend, I happened to drive past Seminar Brewing Company. I decided to stop in, and I am SO glad I did! I honestly had some of the most amazing beer and BBQ I’ve had in a very long time! 🍺🔥 The bartending staff was outgoing, welcoming, and absolutely amazing. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, as well as the history of Seminar Brewing and Elliott’s BBQ. That kind of service really makes a place stand out. I had the three-rib plate with pulled pork and three other sides, and topped it all off with their homemade pound cake. Let me tell you… I haven’t had pound cake that good since my mother was alive! ❤️ That alone brought back some wonderful memories. Seminar Brewing Company is truly an amazing local spot. The food is fantastic, the beer is excellent, and the service is second to none. I would honestly return just for the service alone but the food and beer are an absolute must-have! If you’re anywhere near Florence, SC, do yourself a favor and stop by Seminar Brewing Company. You won’t regret it! Keep up the great work, Florence, SC! You’ve got a real gem here. 🍺🍖❤️

Food and service both were great. Lucas was our server and was very courteous and stopped by the table just the right amount.

Stopped into this place on a whim, yesterday late afternoon. Never heard of the place, but passed by and decided to turn around and stop in for a beer. No expectations. The building appeared quite large from the outside. There was an outside beer garden attached and plenty of parking! Inside, was much more impressive. Nice ambiance, with plenty to take in. Large wooden barrels placed right near the entrance. The building walls are all wooden, giving the feel of a log cabin. Very nice decorative lighting. There were areas of nice big wooden tables and large cream colored booths and couches were available. Part of the restaurant was a nice Game area with several pool tables and arcade games. For those who like to bring their pets, I did see a dog with his family, seated near the game area. We chose to sit at the bar. surprisingly, the bar chairs were very comfortable, especially in comparison to other bar stools, usually all metal without a back. These were comfortable enough to sit and lounge without getting a back ache, if you were planning on lingering, while enjoying food or bevarage. The music being played througout the area was very pleasant. Not too loud, just loud enough to hear the sounds of an older generation of music , classic enough to be loved by both the young and old generations. The place was not very busy at the time we went, but I understand there are some very busy times. I think we just arrived before the crowd started to appear. Chelsea, our lovely bartender/ server was a sweetheart! Very attentive with a great personality. Made us feel comfortable immediately. We recently moved to the state and honestly, are not always greeted with a smile. This experience was much more pleasant. Jackie, another server/bartender also checked on us and conversed with us in a very personal manner. Haley was the third woman working the bar. Although we didn't get into a conversation with her, she pleasantly acknowledged us with a lovely smile. 🙂 We started our order with two delicious beers. Mine was a peach hazy IPA, my husband had a pecan brown ale. Both were delicious. I wish they had both beers in can form, so we could have brought some home. Had we known, we could have brought with us, a growler to have it filled. Next time... As for the food, we both chose a different burger. We added sides of baked beans, collard greens and potato salad. Burgers were of the smash burger variety and cooked perfectly. Sides were also delicious! Overall, if you are looking for a place in Florence that stands out amongst all of the chain restaurants and well, not so great dining/atmosphere/drinking options, Seminar Brewing and Elliott's BBQ lounge is definitely worth a try! On your way out, there are opportunities to purchase T-shirts and novelty items. We will definitely be back!

Great place! On-site smoked entrees all of which are spectacular. Large selection of on-site brews beers plus a full bar coupled with pool tables & video games makes this a fun place for all. Highly recommend!

GREAT food & drinks (our group had the ribs, salmon, and Tue wings deal, and a few delicious cocktails & beers) while catching the FLORENCE AREA BIG BAND. Totally worth every minute & dollar...everyone needs to know this is happening each month. Where else in Florence can you do dinner & a show with a 13-piece jazz band for less than $100 (for 3-4 people)?! Service was stellar - bar brought around a shot to add to my drink just because they felt it needed something after I drank half 😀 LOVE them. It's not a huge menu but lots of beer options that suit even picky drinkers and the smoked meats are always worth it.

Came for a pint, stomach feed me. Too darn good to get a pic before I started. Tasty pork barbecue, solid mix of hazy IPAs, and the selection of side dishes had me on the hook. Great stop for a spell and meal. Friendly staff to boot.
