The Arnold Palmer was delicious! Service was great! And the fried chicken was good. The shrimp had a dirty taste to it that I couldn’t quite get over, but overall the food wasn’t bad. Very friendly, polite service.

If you like good southern food, you will enjoy the chicken, liver and gizzards. The locals come here in the food is great.! This restaurant has consistent quality. The fool has always been good fresh, seasoned, and hot. I have been coming here for years as I pass by on my way to Florence SC. Diverse customer base. You see all kinds of people coming in from all over. Staff is always pleasant and kind whether you go to the drive-through or walk in. Place seems to be always packed. This is one of a few places I don’t mind waiting in drive-through because I know my food will be hot. The fries can be overcooked . Every now and then things are not exactly right but after years of no complaints- I’m OK with that. #ttip: Don’t forget your hot sauce. eat a piece before you drive off to make sure to cook all way. If not, you need to take back in or wait until you get home and put under the air fryer. Either way I think you’ll enjoy it. Accessible parking up front but kind of hard to get to. Kid friendly. On Sunday you will see families sitting inside after church dinner. No outdoor seating available.

Tell me where you can find a perfectly grilled and flavorful ribeye steak, and perfectly fried and crispy jumbo shrimp for $22.00. I’ll tell you where - Shrimper’s Seafood & Grill in Lake City, South Carolina. This place is the go to place for seafood and grilled food. The hometown atmosphere reminded me of the South, where I’m from. My wife had the Catfish Strips and fries, which were perfectly fried, light and crispy. If you have about an hour and a half to spare, while traveling on I-95, get off at exit 135 and follow the signs to Lake City, SC, and GO GET YOU SOME!!!!

I tried to place a to go order last Thursday night but couldn't get an answer. It was getting close to time for them to close and I figured they were really busy and weren't able to answer at the moment so I decided to risk it and made the trip from Coward to Lake City. They were winding down from their rush but still pretty busy and by this time it was around 830-840. I went in and was greeted by the sweetest natured, most adorable young lady who assured me that it was not only perfectly fine for me to be there that close to closing but they would be glad to put in my order! She had beautiful long blonde hair, but I didn't get her name! Every single employee of this establishment was a great breath of customer service fresh air which is getting harder and harder to come by these days! Shrimper of Lake City, take note- you have a great team there and while you do, you need to make sure their pay and benefits reflect such! Trust me when I say it's a COLD World out there of jaded servers, cashiers, hosts/hostesses, cooks, etc and when you get lucky enough to get some great help, you need to make it worth their while to stay!! To the team working last weekend - EXCELLENT JOB!! You have a customer for life!!
