Truth Be Told '96I've never had cantaloupe so sweet, juicy, and delicious as I got from Matthews Fruit Stand! I should have gotten 10 more! The young man who was working there picked out two for me and he picked some DELICIOUS ones! I purchased a yellow watermelon and once I got home and cut it, it was rotten so I was a little bummed about that (I live in northern VA so there wasn't a way to take it back). We originally went to locate Piggybacks BBQ and happened to see the fruit stand. I am SO glad we stopped! They had purple bell peppers. I've never seen purple bell peppers before! My mom purchased some and she said they were sweet and very good! She purchased some peaches. Since we were traveling, the owner told us how to protect them until we got home. Her technique worked and every last peach was DEVOURED!! Best peaches ever!! I recommended this fruit stand! She had different seeds that you could plant and all types of fruits and veggies, nuts, and other food items. It's worth the stop/trip to Lake City!

Bonfire BabeIncredible fresh fruit and vegetables hand selected from local and most favored farms and regions. Delicious homemade jams and relishes of all kinds. Really a special place, with that vintage South Carolina charm to it.

CThey have great fruits and veggies! Very good prices, they sell seeds if you want a garden, all around wonderful place to shop!
