James “Jimmy” SextonIf I could rate 6 stars I would. We had an amazing stay, and Andrea at the front desk was truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. We were in town for my wife’s mother’s funeral, so this was a very emotional and difficult trip for our family. From the moment we arrived, Andrea showed us genuine kindness, compassion, and the kind of Southern hospitality that makes all the difference. We had an issue with our Priceline booking, and Andrea helped get everything worked out in the end with patience, professionalism, and care. She went above and beyond for us. After we left, we realized we had forgotten our iPad in the room, and Andrea personally went back up to get it for us. That meant so much and is something we’ll never forget. I also want to mention how hospitable the staff was overall. My son has severe nonverbal autism, and at times he can have outbursts and scream. Not once were we made to feel uncomfortable, judged, or like we were in the wrong place. Instead, we felt welcomed, supported, and completely at ease, and that meant more than I can say. Between the beautiful modern rooms, the loft, the pool, and the truly caring staff, this stay brought comfort during a very hard time. Andrea especially made the experience exceptional. Her kindness and heart are exactly what Southern hospitality is all about.

humphreyWe recently stayed at Aloft Florence, and I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Ashley, the General Manager, leads an incredible team, and it shows in every interaction. Andrea’s personality is so inviting and calming—it immediately puts you at ease. Amber, the bartender, makes phenomenal drinks and adds such a great vibe. Teresa, Ericka, and Ava were all attentive, kind, and consistently went above and beyond. I also want to recognize the gentleman housekeeper on the first floor (who worked both yesterday and today)—he was absolutely amazing and took great pride in his work, which did not go unnoticed. The rooms were immaculate spotless, fresh, and truly comfortable. The ambiance throughout the hotel is peaceful, stylish, and relaxing… exactly what you hope for when you’re getting away. After having a horrible experience at La Quinta by Wyndham Myrtle Beach, this stay was everything we needed and more. The difference was night and day. I truly can’t thank this team enough for turning our trip around and making it such a great experience. If you’re thinking about where to stay in Florence this is it. We will absolutely be back!
