Freedom Florence Recreation Park

Freedom Florence Recreation Park is one of the City of Florence’s premier athletic and recreation facilities, offering a wide range of amenities for baseball, softball, football, gymnastics, tournaments, and community events. The park includes both an Upper Complex and Lower Complex, with a total of nine lighted baseball/softball fields, bleachers, concession areas, restrooms, press boxes, computerized scoreboards, and public address capabilities.

The park also features an indoor batting cage facility with eight automated machines for softball and baseball, ranging from slow pitch to 90 mph. Additional amenities include a picnic shelter available for rental, an amphitheater area, a 5-acre pond, and a 12,000-square-foot gymnastics center that supports recreational and competitive gymnastics programs.

Freedom Florence also includes three lighted football/multi-purpose fields with a control tower, press box, concession area, and restrooms. Home to local youth sports organizations and tournaments, the park provides a well-equipped and family-friendly setting for athletes, spectators, and visitors.

Guests are asked to follow posted park rules and regulations to help keep the facility safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.
