I don't always pull over to the side of the highway on impulse to get a donut... but I did this time because my five-year-old had never experienced a hot and ready Krispy Kreme, and it was time. We pulled in just in time. We knew these donuts were gonna be hot, and dripping wet with gooey, delicious glaze. T he moment one of the employees found out it was his first visit, she smiled, and handed him his inaugural, free Original Glazed, and instantly made his, and my day both glazedly better. I wish I could remember her name, but her kindness is something neither of us will forget. Watching my son take that first warm bite and seeing his face light up was worth every calorie. Sometimes it's not the doughnut you remember—it's the person who makes the experience special. The doughnut was fresh, hot, and dripping with glaze. We genuinely felt welcome, and part of the Kreme Fam. That's the kind of service that sticks with you. Some places sell doughnuts. The best ones create memories you'll still be smiling about long after the last bite. My son is already asking when we can go back—and honestly, so am I. 🍩
