Read about this Bakery in Southern Living and decided to give it a try. I picked up a selection of muffins, cookies, danish, and cinnamon raisin bread. Everything was wonderful. Especially liked the apple strudel and cinnamon bread. Next time I am in Florence I am definitely stopping again.

Step back in time to a bakery from the 40s, or at least it feels that way. If you're grandma made it, Freeman's has it. I highly recommend the deep fried croissants of you like doughnuts from the green place not the orange. Very nice staff. I also suggest trying the freshly made loaves of bread. I've trird their other pastries. Everything is good. Go early, some items sell out quickly! My per person amount is high because I don't get there often so I buy a lot for everyone.
