This. Was. Incredible. My partner and I were coming from Baltimore and had been driving literally all day. I’m vegan and gluten free and as we got further and further south my food options were looking slim. My partner pulled up Eliza’s and I scanned the menu and saw a few “GF” options and agreed to give it a try. We arrived at 7:15 on a Friday and were greeted with a warm “Welcome to Eliza’s” from behind the counter. On the walls were pictures of Eliza paired with her musings on health and living - wise words! and I was hoping the food would be as good as it sounded on the menu. I ordered a hamburger on a GF bun and my partner (not a vegan) ordered the Colossal Chicken Sandwich - now we wait…. It started smelling good, and the wait time (not at all long) told me this was going to be fresh, not frozen vegan food - and I was right. Eliza’s granddaughter rounded the corner with a perfectly flash fried massive chicken sandwich and a hefty hamburger that tasted like if a Big Mac was actually good. We ate in silence - iykyk (if you don’t, we loved it - and the juices) And will 100% be coming back anytime we pass this way. Good vegan spots are an absolute diamond in the rough - so I recommend you don’t miss this opportunity while you have it!!

Stopped at Eliza’s on the way to the beach and so happy we did. This will be a regular pit stop for us! We got the spicy chicken sandwich, fried okra, cheesesteak, and two slices of cake to go. Everything was great. My chicken sandwich was huge and I had leftovers. Prices are very fair and they were happy to answer questions for us. Great little spot in a location you wouldn’t expect. Can’t wait to return.

My friend and I were traveling down the I-95 corridor and stopped at Eliza's Vegan Cafe for lunch. The entire experience was amazing-- this cafe is truly a gem!! I'm vegan and my friend is vegetarian so we were very excited for all of the options. I got the Danny's cheese steak and the fried okra, and my friend got the Lorraine burger. Our meals were generously portioned and soo delicious!! The fried okra was so crispy and good, and the sauce was quite tasty as well. The cheese steak was also such a treat. My friend loved the Lorraine burger. We also got the homemade juices (limeade and strawberry basil) which were delicious. Everything was very reasonably priced, too! The owner was so kind and friendly, and truly made us feel right at home. The restaurant is named after her grandmother, with her quotes and photos on the walls. You feel like you've walked into someone's home kitchen. If I were local I would become a regular!! What a treat and experience along our travels -- thank you so much -- we had an amazing time and such a delicious meal!!

Leave your carnivore friends at Bucc-ees and come treat yourself here! We had the appetizer sampler, veggie stir fry, and fried chicken basket. Portions were large and food was hot. Definitely try the barbecue chicken; the sauce is deliciously caramelized. Skip the app sampler and just get the chickpea fritters, which are unique and perfectly crispy. The juices are fresh and tasty too!

1st of all... mmmmmm!! Attention all my fellow truckers vegan or not the food is good. It's less than a mile from Pilot. I caught a lyft here. The mac and cheese and bake beans!!! I got the double Loraine burger The onions and bell peppers were sautéed perfectly!!! Music is great. Their plastic utensils are the good sturdy ones. My truck has a fridge so I had to get some stuff to go ya know some stuff to eat the next few days... or hours lol that's my business.
