Today was my first time using the CVS pharmacy. I had been using Walmart for the last several years being a State of South Carolina employee through PEBA- Blue Cross Blue Shield. This year we were changed from Express Scripts and Accredo for Specialty Pharmacy medications to CVS Caremark and CVS Specialty Pharmacy. Their pharmacist Gerard is very friendly, and personable. He greeted me hello, even though he didn't know who I was, being that it was the first time I was ever there. Even though I had two customers ahead of me, he informed me that I could sign in and check my order. Walmart doesn't have that. That was pretty amazing in itself. Turned out that all of my prescriptions were ready for pickup but I only needed two of them. I guess it just Auto triggered refills when everything transferred over from Walmart to CVS. So I pointed that out. He took care of that immediately once it was my turn. He pulled the two medications that I was there to pick up, and welcomed me to CVS. At that point I shook his hand and thanked him. I made sure to get his name. I told him to have an nice day. He reciprocated. Excellent customer service! I would say he's a tremendous asset to CVS.

I like this cvs pharmacy better than the one on irby st, this pharmacy is more respectful and values your time and health way more than the other one I just mentioned above, they treat you more like family than just customers

I have saved over 50% on my last 3 visits to CVS. Join their regular rewards and take advantage of the coupon deals. Then get even more back with email rewards, too! Sometimes stuff sells out, but there are 4 stores within about a 7-10 mile radius.
