Getting down to the brass tax. The fried green tomatoes were good. But those tuna nachos... 😱 Incredible!!! I had the blackened flounder and it was really good but I was more impressed with the hoppin Johns and the slaw that I had for sides. It's not often that the sides steal the spotlight from the main dish. I will be back!!!

Tubb's is the perfect stop over when passing by on Rt95. This local place is just far enough for most people not from the area to never know Tubb's exist. I was sure glad to scope out this place and it is actually only about 8 minutes off 95! I didn't even try the she crab soup and many other exciting menu items, but am very pleased to say I was very happy 😁 with the " butter grouper" fresh catch, the shrimp and grits, flounder po-boy, and bang bang shrimp! Although the andoulie sausage included with the shrimp and grits dish was not the best combo imo, because the skin on the sausage was too tough. ( I left the sausage and really enjoyed the shrimp and grits!) I was solo and made two stops one visit I sat at the bar and the other I took out. The server did not know of the happy hour drink and food specials so I missed out on that, unfortunately! Overall this was a great find ...the server was otherwise pleasant, it was clean, and comfortable! I will definitely be back to try the she crab soup!

The 3 of us had an amazing experience here, all of us are from out of state across the US, in town for work, and enjoyed every bite. Staff is very accommodating, and the owner himself will check on you to make sure everything is as it should be. We all recommend the mussels starter, and I had the Salmon BLT which was phenomenal. Stuffed!! Highly recommend, thank you Tubb's for having us!

We were traveling home from the Labor Day weekend and decided to stop here after hearing great things here in other reviews. This restaurant was amazing! We were greeted at the door with a smiling face and seated right away. The waitress was happy, talkative and answered all our questions about the menu. She also offered suggestions to us as we ordered. Our order came out fast and hot. Let me tell you the food was beautiful, hot and so flavorful! My husband used to be a chef at the famous Jasper White Summer Shack in Boston and he was wholly impressed with this restaurant. Our order included hush puppies and we were presented with this amazing dish full of dips and spreads. Included on the plate was this amazing butter that we put on the hush puppies. AMAZING YUMMO!! Honey lime butter!!!! It was so good we asked for them to sell us a tub of it and they did! Stop here for a relaxing easy yummy meal while you travel through South Carolina you won’t regret it! We didn’t eat outside in the bar area but it was so cool they turned an old airstream into the bar! I imagine night/dinner meals are fun in there!
