As antique collectors, we were genuinely excited to visit this shop and had already found several items we were considering purchasing. Unfortunately, the experience was so uncomfortable that we left empty-handed and won’t be returning. From the moment we walked in, multiple staff members continuously followed us throughout the store under the guise of “being helpful.” In reality, it felt like we were being watched as though we were criminals. Every few minutes someone would ask if we’d found anything, hover nearby, or reposition themselves to keep an eye on us. It was incredibly overbearing and made it nearly impossible to browse and enjoy the experience. What ultimately convinced us to leave was watching the staff berate a small elderly couple who had just walked over from the farmers market across the parking lot. The couple was carrying lemonades, and rather than politely explaining a policy, they were turned around in a way that felt unnecessarily harsh and unwelcoming. Seeing that interaction confirmed the uncomfortable atmosphere we had already been experiencing. As we left, despite acknowledging the staff the first two times they said goodbye, they continued calling after us in an aggressive, almost performative manner. By that point, we simply wanted to get out of the store. I’ve visited antique stores all over the country, including many that carry significantly more valuable inventory than this one. Those shops manage to protect their merchandise without making honest customers feel distrusted or unwelcome. This store could benefit from rethinking its customer service approach. There is a significant difference between being attentive and making customers feel like they’re under surveillance. We were prepared to spend money here, but instead we left feeling uncomfortable. Judging by the body language of other shoppers during our visit, we weren’t the only ones. It’s unfortunate because the merchandise had potential, but the shopping experience overshadowed everything else.

Fantastic place. Great to chat about local resources and places to visit. Huge collection of wonderful old furniture, as well as vintage lamps, utensils, and decorations. Really impressed by the contact and communication through the delivery process. Furniture carefully packed and arrived clean and pristine. Tysm! I noticed other reviews about the staff. I thought they were perfect - attentive, knowledgeable, and really patient, even when I wandered into the back section and messed around opening a bunch of drawers and using lamps and such. They also called when the furniture was being loaded, so I knew exactly when to expect delivery. Much appreciated!

Idk how this place has a lower rating! I just found it today and was so impressed. It’s gorgeous! The owner (I assume) spoke to us and even acknowledged our little boy. As far as the reviews saying “they were followed around” they’ve obviously never worked retail a day in their life in somewhere like this. If I had the space, money, and muscle everything would have went home with me!
